money making business

Business Link, the government's advisory service for start-up firms, is encouraging women to establish their own businesses by offering them support and advice in new workshops. The Northern Echo reports that there are to be more than 500 free-to-attend workshops in the north-east region, some of which will be specifically targeted at women. Business Link account manager Chris Simpson said the advice service believes there are thousands of women in the north-east with 'great ideas' for their own businesses but who do not know about business regulation and how to go about founding their own firms, the Northern Echo quotes. He explains: 'Our workshops will help with all aspects of setting up a business, in particular guidance on how to further exploit ideas, conduct market research, prepare a business plan, identify how to finance the business and then form it.'
